Role Overview

As an Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of 40 to 50 accounts, including schools, commercial office buildings, and manufacturing facilities. You will focus on maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, managing accounts, and driving growth through upselling. Reporting directly to the Director of Client Services, you will ensure that projects are completed on time, contracts are adhered to, and client expectations are consistently exceeded.


Key Responsibilities

- Manage a portfolio of 40 to 50 accounts, serving as the primary customer-facing contact.

- Travel throughout the Bay Area to visit client sites, conduct site walkthroughs, and address customer inquiries.

- Upsell services and promote additional offerings to existing clients.

- Oversee the completion of projects according to specifications and timelines.

- Ensure contract compliance and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

- Efficiently handle client communications via email and phone.

- Utilize spreadsheets and other tools to manage account information and track progress.

- Stay informed about industry trends to deliver optimal service to clients.

- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, sales, finance) to ensure seamless service delivery.

- Conduct regular account reviews with clients, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.

- Prepare and present reports on account status, including performance metrics and client feedback.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.


Qualifications

- Proven experience in account management or client services, preferably in facilities or related industry.

- Knowledge and experience in the facilities/janitorial industry.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM software.

- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Effective communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.

- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.

- Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed, including occasional weekends.

- Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the company’s operational needs.
