The Night Supervisor plays a crucial role in upholding Moreno & Associates' stringent quality standards while overseeing night operations.


With a focus on efficiency, this position assists in administrating our Operations and Safety programs, facilitating top-notch janitorial and facility services across single or multiple sites.


Responsibilities of the Night Supervisor include:


  • Conducting nightly rounds to ensure compliance with quality standards,
  • Promptly addressing service requests, and
  • Fostering a culture of safety and promptness among team members.


The Night Supervisor will also maintain adequate staffing levels, supplies, and supervision while ensuring that the staff maintains a professional demeanor and appearance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


As a Night Supervisor at Moreno & Associates, you will oversee the night operation of our facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide superior Client customer service and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager and other Supervisors on all operational activity related to one or multiple sites.
  • Ensures that the staff complies with the contract and meets the scope of work for each site.
  • Review daily service requests with the Operations Manager. Follow up promptly with all customer requests and ensure completion of the daily work orders assigned to the route supervisors/leads.
  • Conduct monthly safety meetings and operational training as provided for the custodial staff.
  • Schedule and assist with safety inspections.
  • Communicate regularly with upper management regarding day and night operations.
  • Conduct site tours with the Operations Manager and other Supervisors.
  • Attend operational meetings as required.
  • Supervise and administer equipment inventory list and maintain equipment upkeep.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager and partner with HR to ensure that qualified talent is hired and open positions/shifts are filled.
  • Assist, as needed, with billable or non-billable product ordering.
  • Perform all duties necessary to complete unique jobs or utility work requested by accounts.
  • Conduct and document all on-the-job employee training.
  • Communicate and partner with HR in addressing worker's comp information.
  • Ensure compliance with guidelines for quality service rendered by service workers. Coach and document all employee-related issues for processing working with the HR department.
  • Complete work promptly, accurately, and thoroughly with attention to detail.
  • Other related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.


Qualifications:


To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Possess exceptional customer service skills.
  • Exhibit initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Work well as a team and individually.
  • Excellent written and editing skills.
  • Communicates verbally in a practical, clear, and concise manner.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish). 
  • Computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
  • Clean driving record and Driver's License.
  • Ability to multitask and adjust to changing schedules and priorities, maintain organization in a changing environment, and maintain a flexible attitude and approach toward assignments.


Job Requirements:


The job requirements of this role include:

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Bilingual, Spanish/English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be flexible with schedule when needed.
  • Attendance and punctuality are necessary in this position as it requires face-to-face interaction.
  • Able to meet the role's physical requirements and essential functions, with or without an accommodation, for example, frequent standing and walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, carrying, or pushing objects, and occasional reaching with hands and arms.
