Full job description

The Bilingual AR/Receptionist position is accountable for the entire life cycle of account receivable and cash application. Additionally In this role, you will answer and redirect phone calls when necessary, greet visitors at the office when they arrive and take accurate messages. 

General Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

  • Assist with financial reporting and analysis as needed.

  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance department.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth flow of financial transactions.

  • Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and best practices.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner.

  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments.

  • Process incoming payments received via checks, credit cards, or electronic transfers.

  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes.

  • Work with the internal team to get the work tickets billed on time.

  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.

  • Answer the phone calls and redirect the calls.

  • Attend the office visitors.



Qualifications

Education

  • Associates Degree/ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or any Business related field preferred.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable roles.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn Company specific systems.

Skills

  • Proficiency in English and Spanish

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
